POLICIES AND CONTRAINDICATIONS There is a $100 dollars required deposit upon booking for PMU ​ Before you book an appointment please verify you DON'T have any contraindications listed below. Please read carefully because if you have any contraindication you might NOT be a good candidate for microblading. Also, please contact Desiree at 480-876-3553 to verify if there is availability on the location you want your brows/Lips to be done the day and time you chose (Even if you see available the day and time on the calendar) this is important, it is required to confirm available time with Desiree BEFORE you schedule your appointment. Again, if you have any further questions contact us via text at 480-876-3553. CONTRAINDICATIONS: ​ If you have previous work such as microblading/tattoo. (must be faded enough) ( Text at least 3 clear pictures of your brows without any makeup to determine if you are a candidate ) ​ - If your skin is sensitive, it is likely to be easily aggravated and bleed easily. A good way to know if your skin is sensitive is if turns pink very easily from a little scratch. NOT suitable for microblading (powder brows yes) ​ - if your skin has large pores, specifically in the region of the eyebrows and forehead (aka the T-Zone), the color will blur and result in a powdered look. Along similar lines, tattooed hair strokes will not lay properly on skin with deep wrinkles, which can make the overall look appear uneven. Moles, bumps, piercing, and generally raised skin around the eyebrows will also not be able to retain color. NOT suitable for microblading (powder brows yes) - If you have any SKIN CONDITION : Psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, keratosis pilaris, chronic acne, rosacea on and around the brow area, sensitive skin (get red easily/bleeds easily) or if your skin is constantly flaking, itching, or aggravated. NOT suitable for microblading ​ - are pregnant or breastfeeding NOT suitable for microblading - are prone to keloid scars NOT suitable for microblading - have taken Accutane/Retin-A in the last year NOT suitable for microblading - are taking antibiotics (must wait 2 weeks to do treatment) - recently had surgery (must wait 2 weeks to do treatment) - have serious disease such as epilepsy NOT suitable for microblading -diabetes (must be controlled, need doctor's note) -cancer or patients undergoing chemotherapy. (need 6 months clear) - If you have a transmittable blood disease such as HIV or Hepatitis. NOT suitable for microblading -immune system disorder NOT suitable for microblading - high blood pressure (must be controlled) -hemofilia NOT suitable for microblading - hyperthyroidism/hypothyroidism (need doctor's note) - have a heart condition/pacemaker NOT suitable for microblading - got botox done ( must wait 4 weeks to do treatment) - have a sunburn ( must wait 4 weeks to do treatment) -Trichotillomania (i.e., the compulsive pulling of body hair) NOT suitable for microblading -got a skin treatment such as: chemical peel, microdermabrasion, laser, PRP facial,etc. (must wait 4 weeks) ANY ALLERGIES? ( seasonal allergies are ok ) - if you have any other medical condition OR are on any medication you have to text at 561-662-2418 a list of medications you are taking/ medical conditions to verify they won't interfere with the procedure or healing process. ​ Vacationing- microblading is a tattoo and therefore is a mild injury to the skin which takes time to heal. If you are planning to go hot vacation involving sun, sweating, and swimming, make sure you give your skin two weeks to heal post microblading before showing off your newly microbladed brows on the beach! ​ 24 hours prior to your appoinment - you cannot take any caffeine, vitamins, blood thinning medication or alcohol. So, if you’re thinking you’re ready for a microblading procedure, it is important to know that the results of your permanent makeup will be based on the health and quality of your skin. Results will vary from person to person, and if you have a pre-existing skin condition or are on medications, you may still be eligible for a procedure but should adjust your expectations based on your situation. REFUNDS POLICY DEPOSIT: $100 dollars non-refundable deposit due at booking in order to secure your appointment. No refunds will be given on any services performed. No refunds on deposits due to cancellations or no-show. Deposits are not transferable (If you paid a deposit for an specific service, you can only use that deposit for the service you paid for ) LATENESS: if you are 10 minutes or more late, your appointment is subject to being rescheduled or cancelled (deposit is nonrefundable) CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULE: We have a 30% cancellation fee policy for any appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, as well as for no-shows. While we understand unforeseen circumstances may arise, such changes will impact not only Desiree’s schedule, but other clients as well. If you're canceling your touch-up appointment less than 48 hours prior to your appointment, and reschedule outside the 8 week touch-up window, your touch up price will increase (see touch up information on the “services” Tab). Deposits are non-refundable . If you cancel your appointment, you automatically forfeit your deposit. All deposits are non-refundable or transferable to a different service. Rescheduled appointment is based on availability. If you booked an appointment for an specific technique but on your appointment day you decide to do a different technique, it is acceptable, just make sure to let Desiree know about the desire technique, the deposit will still be applied to any service you decide to take. If you paid a deposit for a service different than Microblading, the deposit amount might be different depending on the total price of your service, you as a client can also pay a deposit higher than the requested initial deposit fee. Any deposit fee will not be returned for cancellations of any service We are committed to a professional environment, and expect the same from our clients. If you are not respectful or you are rude in any way at any moment with Desiree or any of her clients, either in person, on social media or over the phone, Desiree has the right of not providing any future appointments and can cancel the appointment. And no more appointments will be scheduled in the future for any service, no exceptions. PROMOTIONS: All promotional discounts are only valid for new sessions and Brows/Lips with no previous permanent makeup tattoo, unless there is an specific discount for other services like touch ups or promo codes which in that case should be mentioned in the advertising or in social media pages. TOUCH-UP APPOINTMENTS: Touchup price is NOT INCLUDED on your first session. It must be done no later than 8 weeks from date of your first procedure. If you can not perform the touch-up due to your own scheduling conflicts or do not show up for your appointment for whatever reason, touch-ups price may vary (please see touch up prices on the “services“ Tab NOTE: Microblading is an art not an exact science therefore healed results varies with each person. Desiree McIntosh Microblading makes no guarantees about how your brows will heal and you may need additional sessions for best results (at an additional charge). Various factors affect healed results and Desiree does her best to provide you with the best service with the high quality training she has received. *If you have any contraindication and still book an appointment, I won't perform treatment and your deposit will not be refunded.
